Client Spotlight: Brigitte Boots

How Lost My Boots Found a Fresh, Grounded New Brand Identity

I connected with Brigitte in person (!) while visiting Ashland, Oregon, where I had lived for around four years, and I instantly felt that we on a similar wavelength. We were both working in our respective ways to take the stuffy out of strategic and add in a hefty sprinkle of care and warmth into our work. She was looking for a brand refresh to better reflect where she was and wanted to be in the future.

The brand challenge: Clarify and organize her coaching, marketing and human design offerings in a cohesive brand that reflects authenticity, purpose & integrity to connect with high-achieving women who are small business owners, coaches, healers, and creatives in the wellness & personal development spaces and who are overwhelmed with how to move forward with their vision. Phew! And with that, we were off!

We explored a variety of routes for her brand, Lost my Boots, and ultimately decided on a "wayfinding" theme involving compass, map and topography elements to translate her business guidance in a way that was adventurous, grounded and personal. This direction leans into the metaphor of the journey and restoration. It connects emotionally with women who feel “off track” and want a clear, soulful way forward.

I spoke with Brigitte to hear a bit more about the branding process, her business and how she integrates human design into her offerings.

Tell me about your brand and what you offer.

Lost My Boots is a soulful marketing consultancy that helps health and wellness entrepreneurs build businesses that honor their energy and impact. I work with high-achieving practitioners who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from their purpose and help them realign with their vision, simplify their path, and lead with more clarity and confidence.

I offer a mix of personalized marketing strategy, messaging refinement, and sustainable systems that includes done-for-you marketing (with myself and a solid team of freelancers). Everything we do is designed to support your energy so you can continue to heal our communities. Unlike traditional business advice that pushes hustle and scale, I blend intentional structure with soul-led strategy to guide you back to yourself.

How does your brand stand out from the rest?

I bring together 15+ years of experience in marketing and a background in health and the unique needs of wellness professionals. My clients are often the ones holding space for everyone else and I take pride in knowing I can help take some of the weight off their shoulders. When developing my brand, I made it clear to Nina I wanted to steer far away from the “boss babe” aesthetic.

My brand needed to feel natural, grounded, and quietly powerful. This is a brand for women who want to lead with grounded confidence and soulful precision, not noise. It’s grounded, but not too hippie. It's soulful, without being emotional. It's empowering, but not sappy, Warm, but not too casual. It's marketing that feels like my clients -- strategic, soulful, and sustainable.

What is human design and how do you integrate that into your services?

Human Design is a personalized map of how your energy is designed to move, work, and make decisions with more ease and less second-guessing. It’s like astrology, the chakras, the I Ching, Kabbalah, and quantum physics had a baby (yes, really). For clients who are interested (which is most of them), I integrate Human Design into our strategy work to align marketing with their natural energy.

This creates resonance, sustainability, and clarity. It also eliminates a lot of the second-guessing. When you understand how you’re built to show up, strategy becomes not just effective, but easier. For my clients, Human Design offers that intuitive-meets-practical framework they’ve been craving. While it’s just one part of the strategy, it’s often the missing piece that helps marketing feel fun (and less overwhelming).

What is your favorite part of your job?

I get to support some of the most badass entrepreneurs out there. People who are literally changing lives. Helping them find confidence and sustainable structure is how I contribute to a larger ripple of collective healing. I also love when a client finally feels seen. Particularly when incorporating human design, because I know how it felt when I found it. My favorite part is giving people permission to show up fully as themselves so that the right people can find them.

What did you want to communicate about your brand through your new visual identity?

That it’s not about loud or flashy marketing, but instead meaningful momentum. I wanted my brand to feel clear, grounded, wise, and expansive. My target audience is the entrepreneur who’s tired of doing it all alone or told they have to do it all. It reflects a journey of de-conditioning, direction, and getting clear about why and how we're going to show up. It’s outdoorsy and metaphorical, evoking themes of the compass, discovery, and self-sufficiency. It feels strategic but soulful. For women who feel “off track” in their business, I wanted this to feel like a path forward.

How has your community responded to your new branding?

So many people have said, “It feels just like you,” which is the highest compliment. Even as my offers and business evolve, the brand continues to reflect my values and how I want to show up. It’s been a solid anchor while creating structure and growth.
