Rusty Sagebrush naturally dyes luxurious, yet sturdy silk "wild rags" for beauty and for function. The balance of grit and grace is at the root of this brand. Many of those who purchase the wild rags don them out in the wilderness, working on the land, and facing rough winters. Her brand design reflects that rough, yet refined quality. We reworked her original logo design to be an actual "brand" used for cattle ranching, as she herself is a rancher in Montana. I also illustrated a few of the plants she uses to dye her wild rags to enhance the "handmade" feel. I redesigned her website as well, taking the stark, minimal design and transforming it into a dynamic, collaged experience where visitors can feel the richness behind her craft.
